TNA stars tease feud with WWE NXT on social media
The TNA roster seems to have enough of the discourse between themselves and NXT.
Throughout Tuesday’s NXT, multiple TNA stars and personalities shared on social media their disdain for NXT and the perception that they are being pushed around by the brand. Some also expressed anger later in the show when it was announced that TNA Champion Trick Williams and NXT Champion Oba Femi will meet in a title for title match that takes place next week.
TNA on X retweeted a lot of the comments made by TNA stars. It was also pushed heavily on Tuesday’s show by announcer Vic Joseph.
Williams won the TNA title back at Battleground, defeating Joe Hendry. In the time since, he has successfully defended the title against he likes of Elijah and Moose. He is scheduled to defend the title against Mike Santana at Bound for Glory on October 12.
The TNA Knockouts title was also held briefy by NXT star Jacy Jayne, but she ended up losing the title in a three-way match to Ash by Elegance at last month’s NXT Heatwave.
