WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi teaming with The Hardys on next TNA Impact
WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi will team with TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys on the Thursday, February 27 TNA Impact.
Femi made a surprise appearance on Thursday’s live TNA Impact alongside Matt and Jeff Hardy to save Leon Slater from a beatdown at the hands of X-Division Champion Moose and The System’s Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards. A six-man with Femi and The Hardys vs. Moose, Myers, and Edwards was then signed for next week’s Impact.
Prior to next Thursday’s taped meeting, Moose will defend his X-Division title against Lexis King on Tuesday’s live WWE NXT episode from Cincinnati, plus The Hardys will wrestle on NXT against Tavion Heights and Myles Borne.
Tessa Blanchard will also be in action on next week’s Impact for the first time in nearly five years, as Santino Marella announced on this week’s show that Blanchard must wrestle next week or be fired. Blanchard has been ducking competition in storyline since returning to TNA and defeating Jordynne Grace at Genesis in January.
Frankie Kazarian vs. Ace Austin, plus Sami Callihan vs. Mance Warner are also official for the February 27 Impact. The lineup:
- Oba Femi, Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy vs. Moose, Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards
- Tessa Blanchard must wrestle or be fired
- Frankie Kazarian vs. Ace Austin
- Sami Callihan vs. Mance Warner
