PWG announces card for Smokey and the Bandido

Coming off last weekend’s Battle of Los Angeles tournament, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has revealed the lineup for their next show.

The event is being called “Smokey and the Bandido” (a tribute to the late Burt Reynolds and a reference to Bandido) and will take place on October 19. It will be headlined by Battle of Los Angeles 2018 winner Jeff Cobb getting his shot at WALTER’s PWG World Championship.

There will also be a couple of debuts on Smokey and the Bandido. Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions LAX (Santana & Ortiz) will wrestle for the promotion for the first time, as will CMLL’s Hechicero. LAX will challenge The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz & Dezmond Xavier) for the PWG Tag Team titles. Hechicero is set to face Zack Sabre Jr.

The full card for Smokey and the Bandido is listed below. Tickets will go on sale at 8 p.m. Pacific time on September 27.
