Raja Jackson jailed in Syko Stu beatdown case
Raja Jackson has now been sentenced to jail following last year’s beatdown on indie wrestler Syko Stu.
Son of UFC legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Raja Jackson was sentenced to jail after his July 2nd, 2026 court appearance.
A couple of months ago, The California Post reported that, per a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Jackson had pleaded no contest to the felony count of battery with serious bodily injury that he was facing.
Now, a few months later, in July, 2026, the LA Times reported that Jackson was booked into an L.A. County jail on Thursday in connection with an August 2025 assault. He was accused of seriously injuring pro wrestler Stuart Smith, aka Syko Stu, causing him to suffer a concussion and the loss of several teeth.
Under the terms of the hearing, Jackson will serve 90 days in jail as well as spend two years on formal probation and pay $81,000 in restitution to Stu. He was recently taken into custody and will finish his jail sentence and be released at the next hearing in late September 2026.
“What happened affected me deeply, and I do not minimize the seriousness of it,” Smith said in court on Thursday. “The injuries I suffered led to a long and difficult recovery that I am still trying to recover from, including treatment for a severe traumatic brain injury, a shattered maxilla and a bone graft procedure,” Stu said in court (via LA Times).
He also further mentioned how, despite suffering through memory loss and reduced cognitive function, Stu holds no grudges toward Jackson.
“I do not stand here with hatred for a desire for revenge. I hold no grudges against Mr. Jackson,” Stu continued. “People can make terrible decisions in difficult moments.”
The incident took place when Jackson, a streamer on the platform Kick, repeatedly punched Stu in the head during the attack, which took place after Stu had struck Jackson in the head with a beer.
