Ricochet vs. Leon Slater set for WrestleCon Supershow 2026

Ricochet vs. Leon Slater is set

A huge interpromotional match is set for this year’s WrestleCon event.

TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater will face AEW star Ricochet on April 16 as part of the WrestleCon Supershow at the Horseshoe in Las Vegas.

“Our 2026 Wrestlecon Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow main event is a Dream Match between TNA’s current X Division Champion @LEONSLATER_ Leon  Slater vs AEW’s Trendsetter @KingRicochet! They specifically requested this match & mountains were moved to make it happen which we truly appreciate!,” WrestleCon wrote.

Earlier on Monday, WrestleCon teased their main event by announcing negotiations had cleared the final hurdle and graphics were being worked on.

“Is everybody ready for a main event Supershow announcement?  It just cleared the final hurdle and we’re working on the graphics!,” they wrote at the time. “Two individuals that have never squared off in the ring and wrestling politics may never allow it to happen again. A lot of exceptions were made to get this match across the finish line and we truly appreciate every party involved that made it a reality.”

On top of working with TNA, Slater has appeared numerous times on NXT, challenging Oba Femi for the NXT Championship earlier this year at New Year’s Evil. He also teamed with Je’Von Evans as part of the undercard for John Cena’s final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event back in December.

Ricochet has been a prominent part of AEW since leaving WWE, recently becoming the first-ever National Champion.
