In an effort to broaden the promotion’s international appeal, Stardom has launched a new global YouTube channel.

The Japanese women’s wrestling promotion announced today that it has created two YouTube subchannels —a global channel and one dedicated to its Stardom World streaming service. Stardom’s plan is to make new uploads to the global one every Sunday. The channel’s first video is a full AZM vs. Rina match from the 2025 Stardom 5 Star Grand Prix, which includes English commentary from Walker Stewart.

“To bring you even closer to the action and showcase the charm of STARDOM like never before, we are thrilled to announce the launch of two brand-new official YouTube sub-channels: STARDOM WORLD ch and STARDOM GLOBAL ch,” Stardom announced.

“To kick things off, both channels will start streaming classic matches from past 5 STAR GP tournaments ahead of this month’s opening on Saturday, July 18! Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss a single video!”

Here is the description for each channel:

Stardom Global —

  • Bringing the thrill of STARDOM to fans all over the world! We will be sharing international event coverage, content tailored for global fans, and STARDOM from a truly global perspective.

Stardom World —

  • This channel will focus primarily on match footage, bringing you incredible archived videos from our history. (archived videos released every Monday and Thursday)

Stardom’s main YouTube channel has nearly 1.5 million subscribers. The new channels have each reached 2,000 subscribers so far.

With Bushiroad transferring all of its shares in NJPW to TV Asahi and CyberAgent, Stardom is now the only wrestling promotion under the Bushiroad umbrella. NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi assured fans that the two promotions will continue to have a relationship going forward despite now having different owners.

Stardom’s 5 Star Grand Prix tournament begins on July 18 and runs through August 23.
