John Cena reveals what Eric Andre told him about Jacob Fatu’s attack on WWE Raw
John Cena revealed what Eric Andre told him after he was attacked by Jacob Fatu on WWE Raw.
In an interaction with Adam’s Apple, while talking about his transition from wrestling to acting, Cena disclosed Andre was enthusiastic about the events that transpired on Raw. He seemed unbothered and labeled it as ‘the best thing of his life’.
“I think it was being present, passionate, and coachable in the realm of being on camera and learning what that’s about. I always love being in the ring. It’s immediate, it’s wonderful, if you’ve ever been, you understand.”
“My castmate and little brother, Eric Andre, just got his first WWE appearance a few nights ago. He’s like ‘Man, it was the best thing of my life.’ So it was just transferring that passion to another lane.”
On the May 15 edition of Raw, Roman Reigns kicked off the weekly program by presenting Jacob Fatu with a brown Ula Fala to signify his high authority in the group. When the group made their exit, they extended pleasantries to Andre, who was seated ringside. However, the interaction quickly turned physical, with Fatu attacking Andre before Reigns instructed him to continue the assault.
Later, it was reported that the segment was added to promote Andre and Cena’s new movie ‘Little Brother’ set to release on June 26 on Netflix.
