Date announced for CMLL 93rd Anniversary show

The official date has been announced for CMLL’s upcoming 93rd Anniversary show.

Earlier today, CMLL, aka Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, announced that their upcoming 93rd Anniversary show will take place on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Arena Mexico. Salvador Lutteroth founded the Mexican-wrestling promotion in 1933, which will complete 93 years in 2026.

“BREAKING NEWS: DATE SET FOR CMLL’S 93RD ANNIVERSARY It will be Friday, September 18, when the Greatest Party of Wrestling takes place at Arena México,” CMLL’s official social media announcement read (translated from Spanish).

Last year, at the 92nd Anniversary show, the mask vs. mask match between Esfinge and Valiente headlined the event. The event also featured Mistico fighting and defeating MJF in a violent title vs. mask match for the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship.

Last year’s event took place on September 19, 2026, at Arena Mexico with a reported attendance of 16,000, per Cagematch.
