La Catalina makes AAA debut, confronts Lady Flammer
La Catalina has joined AAA.
Reina de Reinas Champion Lady Flammer was celebrating her 974-day reign as champion when suddenly a pink cadillac was shown, with La Catalina in the driver’s seat. She then made her debut, effectively becoming the first person to leave CMLL for AAA since the latter was purchased by WWE last year.
Catalina cut a promo congratulating Flammer on her long reign as champion. But she pointed out one thing: Flammer has never faced Catalina. The rest of Las Toxicas went in for the attack but Catalina drove both of Flammer’s stablemates out of the ring. She then grabbed Flammer and shoved the champion’s face into the cake, the segment ending with Flammer then being thrown into a bunch of pictures that were set up to celebrate her long reign.
Earlier this week, CMLL announced that Catalina had left the company when her contract expired on April 1, saying it was Catalina’s decision not to renew her deal. Luchablog later reported that Catalina was expected to make her AAA debut this weekend.
