Mercedes Mone announces next CMLL appearance

AEW star and CMLL Women’s World Champion Mercedes Mone is set to return to Mexico next month.

In a new edition of her Mone Mag publication, Mone revealed that her next CMLL appearance will be at Arena Mexico on Friday, October 17. No other details are known yet, but Persephone recently challenged Mone to face her in a one-on-one match. Persephone was CMLL’s representative at Forbidden Door 2025 in a four-way bout where Mone retained the TBS Championship.

The AEW TBS Championship and CMLL Women’s World Championship are just two of the title belts that Mone currently possesses. She has a TBS Championship defense against Riho coming up at AEW All Out in Toronto, Ontario, Canada this Saturday.

Mone won the CMLL title from Zeuxis in June and has made one defense so far.
