Mercedes Mone title defense, Megan Bayne debut part of CMLL Women’s Day Show
AEW’s Mercedes Mone, Megan Bayne, and Penelope Ford have been announced as part of CMLL’s upcoming Women’s Day show on March 6th, 2026.
On Wednesday’s CMLL Informa, it was announced that Mone will defend her CMLL World Women’s Championship at the event against an opponent to be named. Mone won the title last June and has had three title defenses since then. Just one has taken place in Mexico (last October) which is also her last appearance in the country.
While she is taking time away from AEW, Mone is also scheduled for several other independent title defenses throughout March.
AEW’s Megabad (Bayne & Ford) are also scheduled to appear at the show and make their CMLL debut. Their opponents have yet to be announced.
