New PPV option announced for CMLL Aniversario

Fans now have a new option to watch CMLL’s big annual Aniversario event this Friday night.

Triller TV has announced that it will be carrying CMLL’s 92nd Aniversario as a pay-per-view, with the show set to stream live starting at 10:30 p.m. Eastern time on Friday (September 19). It’s priced at $19.99 and has English and Spanish commentary both available.

In the main event, AEW star MJF is putting the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship on the line against Mistico’s mask. MJF won the belt back in August to set up this matchup against CMLL’s top attraction.

MJF and Mistico have faced each other once before. That match happened at AEW Grand Slam Mexico in June. It ended with Mistico winning by disqualification when MJF gave him a low blow.

Arena Mexico hosts the Aniversario event every September as CMLL — the oldest wrestling promotion still in existence — celebrates its history. The company dates back to 1933 when it was founded as EMLL.

Along with the Triller PPV option, the anniversary show will air live on CMLL’s YouTube channel for paying subscribers at the highest tier ($34.99 per month).
