The first match has been announced for MLW’s show in Charleston, South Carolina, on November 20.

Killer Kross vs. Matt Riddle is now scheduled for the event. MLW announced the news in a press release on Monday, writing:

“Two of the sport’s most dangerous fighters will collide when Killer Kross returns to an MLW ring for the first time in three years to face the unpredictable and unapologetic ‘Rude Dude’ Matt Riddle. Once training partners, now potential rivals, this showdown promises to be one of the most anticipated and heavy-hitting battles in MLW history.”

In storyline, the match was made by Cesar During, who called it “a fight that blurs the line between respect and rivalry. Once friends, will they still be after Charleston? Not that I care!”

The show will take place at the Charleston Music Hall and will air on YouTube and BeIN Sports.

On Saturday’s broadcast of MLW Symphony of Horrors, Riddle was critical of Duran’s matchmaking, particularly for not being granted an immediate rematch after losing his title to Mads Krule Krugger. During the segment, Riddle called Duran’s matchmaking “worse than Brock Lesnar.”

Kross vs. Riddle is the first match confirmed for the show. However, Brock Anderson has challenged Krugger to a Bunkhouse Brawl after Krugger electrocuted CW Anderson in the Chamber of Horrors match last month. Brock’s father, Arn Anderson, has also been announced for the Charleston event.
