LA Park is getting a World Championship shot at MLW's first-ever pay-per-view.
At tonight's War Chamber television tapings, it was announced that LA Park will challenge for Jacob Fatu's World Heavyweight Championship at MLW Saturday Night SuperFight on November 2. The PPV is taking place at Cicero Stadium in Cicero, Illinois.
In storyline, LA Park is getting the title shot by cashing in the golden ticket that he earned by winning this year's Battle Riot match.
Fatu became the MLW World Heavyweight Champion by defeating Tom Lawlor at Kings of Colosseum this July. Fatu then retained against Lawlor at MLW's Never Say Never TV tapings, with Fatu getting help from his Contra Unit stablemate Josef Samael.
Contra Unit (Fatu, Samael, Simon Gotch & Ikuro Kwon) are facing Lawlor, Ross Von Erich, Marshall Von Erich & Low Ki in a War Chamber match at tonight's tapings in North Richland Hills, Texas. That match will air on beIN Sports next Saturday (September 14).
