JBL makes surprise appearance at MLW Fightland
JBL is everywhere.
The former WWE star made a surprise appearance at Saturday’s MLW Fightland in Atlanta. CW Anderson & Brock Anderson were wrestling the Bomaye Fight Club (Alex Kane & Mr. Thomas) when JBL came out. This time, he took out Mr. Thomas with a punch and then gave him the clothesline from hell. JBL whispered something to Brock Anderson before leaving. Brock then covered Thomas for the win.
In the last month, JBL has appeared in three other promotions. At AAA’s Triplemania event in Mexico City, he seconded Nic Nemeth to the ring for his match against Alberto El Patron and later shook Patron’s hand after the match. At TNA Emergence, he took out The System’s Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards, then did it again at Friday’s Victory Road event. At GCW Homecoming, he took out Effy with the clothesline from hell.
In the main event of Fightland, Mistico defeated KENTA to win the Opera Cup tournament. They had won their semifinal matches earlier in the show.
