Lince Dorado to make MLW debut at Kings of Colosseum

Dorado was released from WWE on November 4, 2021

Lince Dorado is headed to MLW. 

MLW CEO Court Bauer announced the news Monday on Busted Open Radio. Dorado's first match in the promotion will take place at Kings of Colosseum 22 where he will wrestle nZo (FKA Enzo Amore). 

The event takes place Friday, May 13 from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. 

"[Dorado] can do it all , can do Lucha, can do American style, can do Japanese style. He brings all that to the table," Bauer said of the 34-year-old. 

Dorado joined WWE for the Cruiserweight Classic in 2016 and stayed with the promotion until his release last November. Since his departure from the company, he has wrestled for The Crash, Warrior Wrestling, CZW and other promotions. 

The updated lineup for Kings of the Colosseum 22 is as follows:

  • MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Hammerstone defends against Richard Holliday (w/ Alicia Atout)
  • Taya Valkyrie vs. Holidead to crown the inaugural MLW Women's Featherweight Champion
  • Weapons of Mass Destruction match: Jacob Fatu vs. Mads Krugger
  • MLW World Tag Team Champions Hustle & Power (Calvin Tankman & EJ Nduka) vs. The Von Erichs (Ross & Marshall Von Erich) vs. 5150 (Slice Boogie & Danny Rivera)
  • The Sandman in action
  • ACH vs. Matt Cross
  • nZo vs. Lince Dorado
