MLW introduces new Southern Crown Championship
MLW has introduced the brand new Southern Crown Championship.
On the latest episode of MLW Fusion, the promotion announced that the new Southern Crown Championship is coming soon. The new title is set to pay homage to wrestling’s Southern roots.
The inaugural champion is set to be decided through a Bunkhouse Stampede match. More details and information on the participants of the match have not yet been announced. Fans expect to learn more about them in the coming few weeks.
Originally founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the promotion moved around a few times between Florida and Philadelphia before settling in South Carolina.
Current MLW Champions
With the brand new championship coming to the promotion, MLW currently has six active championships on its roster.
Killler Kross is the reigning MLW World Heavyweight Champion, while Shotzi is the women’s World Champion. Blue Panther is the National Openweight Champion, while KUSHIDA has the World Middleweight Championship. Bishop Dyer and Donovan Dijak hold the MLW World Tag Team titles.
