New Tag Team Champions were crowned in the main event of this week's MLW Fusion.
Los Parks (LA Park & El Hijo de LA Park) defeated Marshall & Ross Von Erich in a tornado tag match to win the MLW Tag Team titles. In storyline, Salina de la Renta was the executive producer of this week's MLW Fusion episode. De la Renta said she cut a deal with Park for Park and his sons to re-join Promociones Dorado if she could get them a title match. Park had threatened to retire if he didn't get a title shot.
De la Renta also made Tom Lawlor, a rival of the Von Erichs, the special guest referee for the Von Erichs vs. Los Parks Tag Team title match. Lawlor was biased against the Von Erichs throughout the match, including doing fast counts when Los Parks went for pins and refusing to count to three for the Von Erichs at one point.
After Lawlor was sent to the outside during the match, de la Renta sprayed something into Ross Von Erich's eyes and LA Park Jr. got involved. Lawlor recovered and quickly counted the pin.
Prior to losing the titles to Los Parks, the Von Erichs had been MLW Tag Team Champions since November 2019.
