Philadelphia to host MLW Fightland TV tapings

For the second straight year, MLW will hold a February event in Philadelphia.

MLW Fightland will take place at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday, February 1, 2020. The promotion’s SuperFight show also took place at the former ECW Arena earlier this year.

Fightland will be a set of television tapings. Tickets are going on sale next Monday (September 30) at 10 a.m. Eastern time.

This past February’s SuperFight event featured two title changes. Tom Lawlor defeated Low Ki to become MLW World Heavyweight Champion, and The Hart Foundation (Teddy Hart & Davey Boy Smith Jr.) defeated The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) to win the MLW Tag Team titles.

Jacob Fatu is the current MLW World Heavyweight Champion, while The Dynasty (MJF & Richard Holliday) hold the Tag Team titles.

MLW will make their pay-per-view debut on November 2 as Cicero Stadium in Cicero, Illinois hosts Saturday Night SuperFight. The PPV will be headlined by Fatu defending his title against LA Park in a no DQ match.
