New participant confirmed for AEW All-Atlantic title match at Forbidden Door

A qualifying match between Tomohiro Ishii and Clark Connors took place at NJPW Road.

Tomohiro Ishii has secured his spot in the All-Atlantic Championship match at AEW & NJPW's Forbidden Door pay-per-view.

The first-ever AEW All-Atlantic Champion will be determined as Miro, PAC, Ishii, and either Malakai Black or Penta Oscuro collide in a four-way match at Forbidden Door this Sunday. Ishii advanced to the title match by defeating Clark Connors at Tuesday's New Japan Road show in Tokyo.

Ishii had to win two qualifying matches to get into the All-Atlantic Championship bout. He defeated Yoshinobu Kanemaru on Monday to advance to the qualifier against Connors.

Black and Oscuro are facing each other on Dynamite this Wednesday to determine the final participant for the All-Atlantic Championship match.

Forbidden Door is being held at the United Center in Chicago on Sunday (June 26). It's the first time that AEW and NJPW have ever co-promoted a show together.
