NJPW G1 Climax 36 night 13 results, updated standings
The G1 Climax 36 continued on Saturday with a show in Yokohama.
Four matches in B Block took place.
The main event saw Callum Newman get a pinfall on OSKAR while having a hold of the tights and the referee out of position. The win puts Newman’s record at 5-2, with matches remaining against Aaron Wolf and HENARE. OSKAR drops to a 4-4 record, with his final remaining match against Yuya Uemura.
In the semi-main event, Ren Narita benefited from multiple instances of House of Torture interference and Wolf’s injured knee to get a submission victory via a kneebar. The win moves Narita to 10 points, with two remaining matches against Drilla Moloney and Gabe Kidd. The loss drops Aaron Wolf to a 3-4 record, with matches remaining against ZSJ and Newman.
Yuya Uemura defeated HENARE with a Lions Shiner crossbody off the top. The win moves him to a 4-3 record with eight points and matches remaining against Kidd and OSKAR. Meanwhile, HENARE drops to a 4-3 record with matches remaining against ZSJ and Newman.
ZSJ needed a win to stay alive in the opening tournament match of the night. He defeated Moloney via a pinning combination to improve his tally to six points, with matches remaining against HENARE and Wolf. Moloney’s record drops to 4-4, with one remaining match against Narita.
