NJPW New Year Dash 2021 set for Tokyo Dome City Hall


NJPW has revealed the location for New Year Dash 2021.

It was announced overnight that New Year Dash 2021 will be held at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan on Wednesday, January 6. The annual event features the fallout from Wrestle Kingdom and the start of the build to NJPW's post-Wrestle Kingdom programs. The card for New Year Dash isn't announced in advance.

Wrestle Kingdom 15 is taking place at the Tokyo Dome on Monday, January 4 and Tuesday, January 5, 2021. This is the second straight year that Wrestle Kingdom has been a two-night event.

New Year Dash had traditionally been held at Korakuen Hall before being moved to Ota City General Gymnasium for the 2020 edition of the show.

NJPW hits Tokyo Dome City Hall for the first time in nine years on January 6, as we witness the fallout from Wrestle Kingdom 15. In 2020, New Year Dash saw Jyushin Thunder Liger’s emotional retirement, and Jay White and KENTA brutally attack Tetsuya Naito and SANADA after a memorable main event. With the card for the evening not announced until the action gets underway, what will unfold January 6 2021?
