Road to New Japan Showdown card announced for NJPW Strong
Three matches have been announced for this week’s Road to New Japan Showdown episode of NJPW Strong.
In the main event, David Finlay, PJ Black, Alex Zayne & Misterioso will face the Bullet Club team of KENTA, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa & Hikuleo. Finlay defeated KENTA in an elimination tag match on the October 9 edition of Strong. Finlay and Jeff Cobb also scored a win over KENTA and Chase Owens on the October 16 episode.
Karl Fredericks will face Blake Christian. Christian made it to the semifinals of the Lion’s Break Crown tournament before he was eliminated by Danny Limelight.
In Friday’s opener, Clark Connors & The DKC will go up against The Riegel Twins, Logan & Sterling. Connors eliminated Logan in the Lion’s Break Crown semifinals on the October 2 Strong episode.
Strong airs Friday at 10 p.m. Eastern time on NJPW World.
