NJPW G1 Climax 36

First results for this year’s G1 Climax tournament are in.

The first night of action began Saturday night in Chicago, with nine matches taking place across both blocks. In the main event, the IWGP Champion stood tall as Yota Tsuji defeated former champion Konosuke Takeshita with his new finishing move the fire blaster.
