Nikki Bella details next WWE role after in-ring career
Nikki Bella has expressed interest in the role she would like to pursue in WWE once her in-ring career comes to an end.
In an exclusive interview with Casino Guru, Bella elaborated on her eagerness to become a General Manager in WWE. She specifically cited Stephanie McMahon’s heel run in the role as inspiration.
“WWE will always be my home, so I always hope to be a part of it in some way. Maybe transition to GM, because I feel like we need some Stephanie McMahon vibes back in there. There’s nothing like a bitchy woman who’s in control, so you never know. If I feel like the body is like, ‘Okay, we’re good, but suit me up and let me run the show,’ I’d do that.”
Bella had talked about it earlier as well as a potential role she would like to pursue once done with her in-ring career. She has portrayed a heel on multiple occasions during her first WWE run most notably in 2014 when she betrayed Brie Bella culminating in their singles rivalry.
Currently, she is recovering from an ankle injury suffered in March. Bella is hopeful to be medically cleared for a comeback in time for Night of Champions on June 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
