NJPW announces teams for World & Super Junior Tag league
New Japan Pro Wrestling has revealed the teams for both the World Tag league and the Super Junior Tag league.
The tournaments will run concurrently beginning on Monday, November 21, and concluding with the finals on Wednesday, December 14.
Announced for the World Tag League are the following:
- Be-Bop Tag Team (Hiroshi Tanahashi & Toru Yano)
- Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI)
- Los Ingobernables De Japon (Tetsuya Naito & SANADA)
- United Empire (Great-O-Khan & Aaron Henare)
- Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher)
- TMDK (Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste)
- Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki & Lance Archer)
- Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale & Chase Owens)
- House of Torture (EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi)
Announced for the Super Junior Tag League are the following:
- Wild Hips (Ryusuke Taguchi & Clark Connors)
- KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight
- Flying Tiger (Tiger Mask & Robbie Eagles)
- CHAOS (YOH & Lio Rush)
- Alex Zayne & El Lindaman
- Los Ingobernables De Japon (BUSHI & Titan)
- Catch 2/2 (TJP & Francesco Akira)
- Suzuki-Gun (Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Douki)
- Bullet Club (Ace Austin & Chris Bey)
- House of Torture (Sho & Dick Togo)
The winners of each tournament will challenge the champions of their respective divisions in the Tokyo Dome at Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4, 2023.
