NXT wrestler out of action with torn ACL, meniscus

Adriana Rizzo is injured.
She posted to social media on Sunday revealing she’s dealing with a torn ACL and meniscus. She included photos of herself with her knee in a brace.
Rizzo wrote:
“Here we go again… torn ACL + meniscus. A setback, not the end. As some of you know, I’ve had a string of bad luck with injuries. Ready to attack this and come back 100% healthy for the first time in my WWE career.”
While the 26-year-old hasn’t wrestled since April, she has appeared on NXT programming as part of the D’Angelo Family storyline. We last saw her at Great American Bash where she organized a sit-down with Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino, and Tony D’Angelo to announce the family’s “Final Battle.”
Rizzo also missed five months with a ruptured Achilles tendon in 2023 and just under four months following a partial ACL tear suffered in 2024.
Real name Anna Keefer, Rizzo was a star track athlete at the University of North Carolina and a five-time NCAA All American before starting at the WWE Performance Center in 2022. Others in her class at the PC included Karmen Petrovic, Jazmyn Nyx, Brinley Reece, Carlee Bright, Kelani Jordan, Tyson Dupont, Tyriek Igwe, Izzi Dame, and Niko Vance.
