Debut announced for WWE NXT Level Up

A WWE Performance Center recruit will be making their in-ring debut on this week’s episode of NXT Level Up.

The debuting Bryson Montana (real name Jacoby Brooks) will face Javier Bernal on NXT Level Up this Friday night. The show streams on Peacock/WWE Network at 10 p.m. Eastern time.

Montana was signed by WWE after taking part in last August’s tryouts in Las Vegas. He’s a United States Navy veteran and a fitness/bodybuilding competitor. In 2021, Montana won the men’s classic physique category at the Lee Labrada Classic.

WWE filed a trademark for the name “Bryson Montana” in December of last year.

“NXT Level Up veteran Javier Bernal will show a debuting Montana the ropes when the two lock up in singles action,” WWE wrote. “Bernal has been a consistent presence on Friday nights, but can he pick up only his second career win against the rookie, or will Montana make an epic introduction?”

Here’s the full lineup for this week’s episode of Level Up:

  • Josh Briggs vs. Quincy Elliott
  • Ivy Nile vs. Yulisa Leon
  • Javier Bernal vs. Bryson Montana
