Carmelo Hayes vs. Trick Williams cage match set for next week’s WWE NXT
Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams will renew their rivalry in a steel cage match on next week’s WWE NXT.
Hayes attacked Williams & NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov in the show-closing segment on Tuesday’s NXT show, then laid out the steel cage match challenge to Williams.
Earlier in the segment, Dragunov agreed to put his NXT title on the line against Williams on night one of Spring Breakin’ on Tuesday, April 23.
Williams & Hayes main evented last Saturday’s Stand & Deliver PLE, with Williams scoring the victory over his one-time ally.
Three more matches are set for next Tuesday’s NXT episode.
Ridge Holland will return to the ring after an extremely short-lived storyline retirement to take on the LWO’s Joaquin Wilde after a backstage confrontation between the two this week.
Lola Vice mixed it up with Natalya on this week’s NXT show in a backstage brawl, but she will go one-on-one with Sol Ruca on next week’s episode.
After another backstage confrontation between Noam Dar & Dijak on Tuesday’s show, those two will also square off next week.
