CM Punk advertised for WWE NXT house show this weekend
CM Punk appears set for an NXT house show this weekend.
Punk posted to his Instagram Stories on Monday, revealing that he will be at the NXT live event on Saturday, August 15, in Petersburg, Virginia. The show is scheduled for the VSU Multipurpose Center.
According to a Saturday report from WrestleTix, 1,261 tickets have been distributed for the show, with the get-in price listed at $36.55.
Also advertised for the show are NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo, NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey, Jaida Parker, Grayson Waller, Shiloh Hill, NXT North American Champion Myles Borne, and Tavion Heights.
This will be the first NXT live event held at the venue. WWE previously held a house show there on December 4, 2022, drawing a reported 2,883 fans. Another WWE house show at the venue on July 13, 2019, reportedly drew approximately 3,000 fans.
WWE NXT also has a live event the night before in Salisbury, Maryland. However, Punk does not appear on advertising for that show.
