Cody Rhodes teases WWE NXT appearance
Cody Rhodes is teasing an appearance on Tuesday’s NXT.
During NXT Battleground, Rhodes posted on X that he may visit Florida this week with a gift to visit some old friends, specifically mentioning Ethan Page.
“Watching @WWENXT Battleground curious how my old friend @OfficialEGO will do against @_trickwilliams (Actually thinking of “dashing” down to FL this week with a gift and see some old friends),” Rhodes wrote.
Rhodes has made a few appearances on NXT, including last fall where he announced the return of two tournaments: The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and the Men’s Breakout Tournament.
New matches were announced for Tuesday’s NXT during Battleground. Je’Von Evans will face Shawn Spears after the two ended up brawling on last week’s show. Following their ladder match during Sunday’s premium live event to crown the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion, Michin will battle Jaida Parker.
