Cole vs. Kushida, Gargano vs. Grimes confirmed for NXT

WWE has also confirmed that Johnny Gargano vs. Cameron Grimes is set for tonight’s NXT. The match had been teased after video of an angle where they got into a confrontation at an NXT house show in Riverside, California was posted over the weekend.
The match comes in advance of Gargano facing Finn Balor at NXT TakeOver: Portland on Sunday.

Another match has been confirmed for tonight’s NXT.
NXT Champion Adam Cole will face Kushida in a non-title match tonight. Cole sent out a tweet today to set the match up: “In a really bad mood…and I hear Kushida has a problem with what happened last week. Ok tough guy, how about tonight you try and do something about it? I bet you won’t. @WWENXT #nxtonusa”
While Undisputed Era were looking for Tommaso Ciampa last week, they attacked Kushida and Cole gave him a Death Valley Driver into a trash can.
Cole will defend his NXT Championship against Ciampa at TakeOver: Portland on Sunday.
Tonight’s NXT is the go-home show for TakeOver. Candice LeRae vs. Dakota Kai has been confirmed for tonight, along with a Cruiserweight title number one contender’s match between Lio Rush and Angel Garza.
