D’Angelo Family ‘final battle’ set for next WWE NXT
The D’Angelo Family saga will come to a conclusion on next week’s WWE NXT with a “final battle.”
Adriana Rizzo made her return to NXT TV on Tuesday’s episode to broker peace talks between the other members of the fractured D’Angelo Family — Tony D’Angelo, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, and Luca Crusifino.
After the peace talks failed, the three agreed to a triple threat match on next week’s show, where it will be D’Angelo vs. Lorenzo vs. Crusifino in a final battle to settle their differences.
Lorenzo turned on D’Angelo at Stand & Deliver in April of this year. They then met in a singles match at Battleground in May with Lorenzo defeating D’Angelo after a distraction from Crusifino, with it remaining unclear whether or not Crusifino was aligned with D’Angelo or Stacks. Lorenzo has since gone on to win the NXT Heritage Cup.
As a duo, D’Angelo and Lorenzo are former two-time NXT Tag Team Champions.
