Dusty Classic semifinals announced for next week’s NXT

This year’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is down to its final four teams.

Both semifinal matches will take place on NXT next Wednesday. It will be The Undisputed Era (Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish) vs. The Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) and Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne vs. Imperium (Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner).

The tournament began with O’Reilly & Fish defeating Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) and Barthel & Aichner defeating The Forgotten Sons (Wesley Blake & Steve Cutler) in first round matches last week. Gibson & Drake defeated Alex Shelley & Kushida and Riddle & Dunne defeated Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster tonight.

There are two NXT teams and two NXT UK teams left in the tournament.

WWE hasn’t announced when the finals will be taking place.

Samoa Joe & Finn Balor, The Authors of Pain, Undisputed Era (Adam Cole & O’Reilly), and Aleister Black & Ricochet are the teams that have won the Dusty Classic in previous years.

Next week’s NXT will also feature Keith Lee challenging for Roderick Strong’s North American Championship.
