Elijah suffers injury on WWE NXT

Elijah was injured on WWE NXT.

He teamed with Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs in a six-man tag against Trick Williams, AJ Francis, and Wes Lee on last night’s show. Our own Bryan Alvarez reports that Elijah was hurt while attempting The Undertaker’s ropewalk spot during the match, possibly injuring his arm or triceps. He didn’t use his left arm for the remainder of the bout.

Alvarez wrote to his subscribers on X:

“Elijah injured his left arm on NXT, somehow it appears nobody even noticed. Hopefully not too serious, but looked like elbow injury or maybe torn triceps.”

In his full report on this week’s NXT, Alvarez added:

“What happened was, he tried the Undertaker old-school and landed really weird on his elbow and appeared to injure it badly.  He basically didn’t use his arm for the rest of the match and somehow nobody noticed it.  May have been an elbow injury or a torn triceps.”

The injury could impact Elijah’s ability to wrestle at this weekend’s TNA television tapings in Pittsburgh. The promotion is set to run the UPMC Events Center on Friday, June 20, and Saturday, June 21. Elijah is featured in advertising for the shows, alongside The Hardys, Masha Slamovich, Moose, and Joe Hendry.

Elijah is also scheduled for the main event of Thursday’s episode of Impact, which was taped in Tempe, Arizona on June 7. He’s set to team with The Rascalz, Joe Hendry, and Leon Slater against Steve Maclin, Moose, Trick Williams, and The Nemeths.
