NXT Championship fatal four-way, more title matches set for Heatwave

The NXT Championship match for Heatwave is now a four-way.
Shawn Spears defeated NXT Champion Trick Williams in the main event of Tuesday’s NXT. The end of the show saw Ava turn the scheduled Williams vs. Je’Von Evans title match for July 7 in Toronto into a four-way, adding Spears and Ethan Page, who defeated Evans on last week’s show.
The NXT Women’s Championship will also be on the line. After Roxanne Perez defeated Karmen Petrovic on Tuesday, she was laid out by Lola Vice, who was on commentary, and took Perez’s title. When Perez collected her title inside Ava’s office, the NXT General Manager confirmed the title match for Heatwave.
Two other number one contenders were crowned on Tuesday. Sol Ruca defeated Arianna Grace to earn a NXT Women’s North American title match. In the show opener, Chase U defeated New Catch Republic in a tag team turmoil match to earn a shot against champions Nathan Frazer & Axiom.
After Wes Lee defeated Joe Coffey, Oba Femi appeared in the crowd and officially confirmed their North American title match for next weekend.
