The winner of NXT UK's Heritage Cup number one contender's tournament will be decided next week.

WWE has announced that Noam Dar and Wolfgang will face off in the finals of the contender's tournament on next Thursday's episode of NXT UK. The winner will get a future shot at Tyler Bate's Heritage Cup Championship.

Dar defeated Mark Andrews and Kenny Williams in the first two rounds of the tournament, while Wolfgang defeated Sam Gradwell and Teoman.

On today's NXT UK, a video package aired where Dar and Wolfgang spoke about next week's match. Wolfgang said he wants to inspire the new generation in the same way that people like William Regal, Fit Finlay, and Johnny Saint inspired him. Wolfgang said the difference between him and Dar is that he cares about the heritage of British wrestling and the wrestlers who laid the groundwork for them.

Wolfgang said winning the tournament isn't just about getting Gallus back on top, it's about him showcasing what he can do.

Dar gave respect to the legends, but he said being humble doesn't work as well as being aware. Dar said he's only 28 and is only getting better. Dar said his game plan is to use his ninja sharpness, not get hurt, and come home with a pocket full of cash.

Bate is the second-ever Heritage Cup Champion. He won the title from A-Kid this May.

Jinny vs. Emilia McKenzie and Andrews vs. Gradwell are also set for next Thursday's NXT UK.
