Jazmyn Nyx: WWE contract offer ‘wasn’t going to cut it for me financially’

Jazmyn Nyx has explained her decision not to re-sign with WWE.
Nyx was shown beaten up and unconscious on NXT last night, shortly before Jacy Jayne told Fallon Henley it was time to kick her out of Fatal Influence, anyway. PWInsider would later report that Nyx had turned down a new offer from WWE and will be departing the company once her contract expires.
Nyx posted a video to social media on Wednesday saying the three-year deal WWE offered her wasn’t going to “cut it financially” for her.
Nyx said:
“I kind of want to just set the record straight that I am not re-signing with WWE. This was a personal decision I had to make for myself and for my future. Personally, the contract that they were offering me for the next three years just wasn’t going to cut it for me financially and that’s OK.
“I kind of just wanted to give a back story of everything. I was playing professional soccer in Iceland and then I got recruited obviously to WWE, which I left everything out there to come here for this opportunity, which I’m very, very grateful for.“
Real name Jade Gentile, she was playing pro soccer for UMF Afturelding before joining WWE in 2022.
Nyx continued to say she’s had to turn down several opportunities while working at WWE that she is now free to explore.
Nyx said:
“There’s been a lot of opportunities that I’ve had to turn down and pass up, but now that I am out of the job, I can kind of explore these opportunities more and take them more seriously. Love my Jazmyn Nyx fans. Thank you guys so much for supporting me and having my back for the past three years. It’s been an amazing journey and I will miss you guys.”
“And no guys I will not be making an OF 😂” Nyx commented on her own post.
