Keanu Carver interrupts Booker T Appreciation Night on WWE NXT
Booker T Appreciation Night nearly ended in a brawl.
During the ceremony held in Booker T’s hometown of Houston, a video aired showing WWE and NXT names such as Jacy Jayne, Jasper Troy, Trick Williams, Stephanie Vaquer, and Roxanne Perez praise the five-time WCW Champion for helping them during their career. As Booker T was giving a speech, he was cut off by Keanu Carver, who went on a rampage by attacking his Reality of Wrestling students and demanded Booker T leave the ring.
The two met in the ring and had a staredown until Troy came out and cleared house, throwing Carver out of the ring. The locker room emptied to applaud Booker T, who responded by grabbing a microphone and berated general manager Robert Stone for what had happened. Booker’s microphone cut off as the segment ended, seemingly implying the final minutes of the segment were unplanned.
Booker T is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, both for his work as a singles wrestler as well as for being part of Harlem Heat alongside his brother Stevie Ray. He has been a part of the WWE NXT announce team since 2023.
