Multiple matches set for WWE NXT TV in Philadelphia
Two matches are official for the Tuesday, August 19 WWE NXT TV episode set for Philadelphia.
A number one contender’s match will take place in Philadelphia, with the winner challenging Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at the Heatwave PLE on Sunday, August 24. Je’Von Evans and former NXT Champion Trick Williams will go one-on-one on the August 19 episode to decide the top contender to Femi’s title.
Before they meet in Philly, Williams and Evans will team with Femi and Moose against DarkState’s Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, and Osiris Griffin on the August 12 episode.
A rematch from the July 22 NXT TV is also set for Philadelphia, with Ricky Saints looking for revenge against Jasper Troy. Troy planted Saints through the stage in their last encounter en route to a countout victory over the former North American Champion.
The Tuesday, August 19 WWE NXT TV show will air live from The Met in Philadelphia.
