Mystery appearance teased for WWE NXT Stand & Deliver pre-show

A mystery appearance is on tap for WWE NXT’s Stand & Deliver pre-show.

The pre-show streams live starting at 11 a.m. Eastern time this Saturday (April 6). After last night’s NXT episode went off the air, a video was posted teasing that someone from NXT’s past will be involved with the Stand & Deliver pre-show. It wasn’t revealed if they’ll be a panelist or if they’ll be playing a different role.

In the video, NXT general manager Ava spoke on the phone with a person whose identity was not revealed.

Ava said:

Thank you so much for taking my calls. I’m so excited that you’re going to be joining us on the Countdown show on Saturday. I know everyone is going to be so excited to see you. Of course, you’re always going to be a part of the NXT family. Ok. Ok, great. Awesome. I will see you on Saturday. Alright, bye.

One match has been announced for the Stand & Deliver pre-show. It will be Shawn Spears vs. Joe Gacy.

The Stand & Deliver main card has a start time of noon Eastern. The event is streaming live on Peacock/WWE Network prior to night one of WrestleMania 40.
