The next challenger for Bron Breakker's NXT Championship will be determined this Tuesday.
WWE has announced that a number one contender's stipulation has been added to Dolph Ziggler and Tommaso Ciampa's match on this Tuesday's episode of NXT. When the winner will be getting their title shot against Breakker hasn't been revealed.
After a feud between Breakker and Ziggler started on social media, Ziggler crashed a championship summit with Breakker and Santos Escobar on NXT two weeks ago. Ciampa also got involved in the segment and brawled with Ziggler.
Last week, Breakker retained his NXT Championship against Escobar on a special Vengeance Day edition of NXT. Ziggler interfered during the match and dropped Breakker with a superkick while the referee was distracted, but Ziggler was then taken out of the equation when Ciampa fought with him at ringside.
Ciampa also made an appearance on Raw last week and caused Ziggler & Robert Roode to lose to The Street Profits. Ziggler gave Ciampa a superkick after the match.
Breakker won the NXT Championship from Ciampa at New Year's Evil last month. Last week's Breakker vs. Escobar match was Breakker's first title defense.
After airing on Syfy for two straight weeks due to the Winter Olympics, NXT will be back on USA Network this Tuesday. Here's the updated lineup for the show:
- Number one contender's match: Dolph Ziggler vs. Tommaso Ciampa
