NXT title match, Sol Ruca vs. Zaria set for Stand & Deliver
The NXT Championship will be defended in a four-way next month.
The main event of Tuesday’s NXT saw Ethan Page interfere in the main event, joining Ricky Starks to attack Tony D’Angelo. Joe Hendry came out for the save, but also chose to lay out D’Angleo with the standing ovation, gaining a measujre revenge over a recent D’Angelo attack. Backstage, Robert Stone announced a four-way match for Stand & Deliver.
All three challengers had been in the hunt for the title, with D’Angelo declaring his intentions after defeating Dion Lennox at Vengeance Day. Ethan Page recently scored a win over Hendry in a tag match.
Sol Ruca and Zaria, former tag team partners, will also meet. The two had a face-to-face on this week’s show, with Ruca accusing Zaria of fighting for herself rather than fighting for their team while Zaria accused Ruca of stealing the spotlight for herself. The two agreed to a match for St. Louis, with Zaria telling Ruca that she wasn’t the villain in her story, but a mistake.
