NXT wrestler announced for ROW Sherri Martel Classic
Booker T is bringing in at least one NXT wrestler for this year’s Sherri Martel Classic.
The one night tournament takes place Saturday, November 29, in Texas City, Texas. The first announced competitor is Olympic gold medalist Tyra Mae Steele.

This will be the third edition of the Sherri Martel Classic. The first two events followed a format of six first round singles matches, two triple threat semifinals, and a singles match in the finals.
The inaugural Sherri Martel Classic was won by Hyan, who recently teamed with Maya World against TayJay on Collision. She defeated Promise Braxton in the 2022 finals, but Braxton returned to win the 2024 edition, defeating Gigi Rey in the finals.
In NXT, Steele is coming off a loss alongside Tavion Heights to Ethan Page and Chelsea Green at Heatwave, a win over Alba Fyre on the August 26 episode, and a loss to Kelani Jordan on the November 4 episode of NXT.
