Raquel Gonzalez segment announced for WWE NXT

This week’s NXT will feature an appearance by new Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez.

WWE has announced that we’ll hear from Gonzalez on NXT this Tuesday. NXT’s move to Tuesday nights kicks off with the episode.

Gonzalez defeated Io Shirai in the main event of TakeOver: Stand & Deliver night one last week to win the NXT Women’s Championship. At the end of the match, Gonzalez hit a lariat, a one-armed powerbomb, and pinned Shirai to win the title.

WWE.com wrote about Gonzalez’s segment on Tuesday’s NXT:

What better way to ring in NXT on Tuesday nights than with the new NXT Women’s Champion?

The NXT Universe will hear from Raquel González on NXT on its new night this Tuesday at 8/7 C on USA Network.

“Big Mami Cool” rose to the occasion in the biggest moment of her career, dethroning former champion Io Shirai at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver after an unforgettable battle.

Now that González has solidified her place atop NXT, what will be her first move as champion?

WWE has also announced that Franky Monet will debut on this Tuesday’s episode of NXT. Franky Monet appears to be former Impact Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie’s WWE in-ring name.
