Report: Date set for WWE NXT In Your House
The date for NXT’s next streaming special appears to be set.
PWInsider reported today that NXT In Your House 2022 will take place on Saturday, June 4. The report states that no final determination has been made on whether the event will be held at the WWE Performance Center or a different venue.
WWE’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view will be taking place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on Sunday, June 5.
In Your House will be NXT’s first streaming special since April’s Stand & Deliver event in Dallas over WrestleMania 38 weekend. That was the first NXT show to be held outside of Florida in more than two years.
On last night’s NXT, it was announced that Cameron Grimes will defend his North American Championship against Carmelo Hayes at In Your House.
Grimes & Solo Sikoa will face Hayes & Trick Williams in a tag team match on NXT next Tuesday. Sikoa wants the next shot at the North American title following In Your House.
This is the third straight year that NXT has held an In Your House event. The classic WWE show name made its return for an NXT TakeOver special following the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
