Report: NXT wrestler leaving WWE after contract expires
Jazmyn Nyx’s WWE run is reportedly over.
According to a report by PWInsider, Nyx will be exiting the company when her contract expires. The 27-year-old was shown beaten up and unconscious on this week’s episode of WWE NXT, while Jacy Jayne remarked that it was time to drop her from Fatal Influence anyway, as “only the strong survive.”
WWE is said to have offered Nyx a new contract, but she turned it down. Once her current deal is up, she will be free to wrestle elsewhere if she chooses.
Nyx’s final match with the company was in the main event of NXT Homecoming, where she teamed with Jayne and Fallon Henley in a loss to Rhea Ripley, Lyra Valkyria, and Stephanie Vaquer.
Real name Jade Gentile, the Baldwinsville, New York native was signed in 2022. She is a former soccer standout at West Virginia University and went on to play professionally for Icelandic club UMF Afturelding before joining WWE.
