Surprising name wrestles at WWE NXT house show
A surprising name made an in-ring appearance at Thursday’s WWE NXT house show in Columbus.
Omos made an unannounced appearance at Thursday’s NXT house show in Columbus, quickly defeating Lexis King in a match. It was the first time in 2025 that Omos has wrestled under the WWE banner.
As part of a working agreement with Pro Wrestling NOAH, Omos worked seven matches on a January tour of Japan earlier this year, plus worked the AAA TripleMania XXXIII event in August, his only matches of the year.
The giant’s last main roster WWE match came in April 2024 in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the SmackDown before WrestleMania XL.
A former Raw Tag Team Champion with partner AJ Styles, Omos revealed earlier this year that he had re-signed a long-term contract extension with WWE. In an interview earlier this week, he named Styles The Undertaker, Mark Henry, and MVP among his wrestling mentors.
