Tag team match added to WWE NXT
A new match is set for Tuesday.
On social media, it was announced that Ethan Page and Ricky Saints will team up to take on Joe Hendry and Myles Borne. The match is based on events that took place at NXT Vengeance Day this past Saturday that saw Joe Hendry retain the NXT Championship over Ricky Saints.
Earlier on that show, a dejected Page begrudgingly agreed he would help Saints in the main event by giving the NXT title to Saints. However, he overshot his target and it landed near Hendry instead, putting it in the view of the referee. The match finished with Hendry hitting the standing ovation to retain the title.
Page lost the NXT North American title to Myles Borne on the February 24 episode of NXT then lost a rematch one week later.
