TNA wrestler to challenge for WWE NXT title on December 30 episode
The Tuesday, December 30 WWE NXT TV episode will feature a TNA wrestler challenging for one of NXT’s championships.
As revealed during this week’s show, Moose will challenge Ethan Page for the NXT North American Championship on the Tuesday, December 30 NXT TV.
Moose was part of an in-ring confrontation on this week’s NXT TV, where Page, NXT wrestler and TNA International Champion Stacks, and Moose chopped it up in the ring in a promo. The segment ended with Moose announcing that he will challenge Page on December 30 in an attempt to level the playing field in the NXT vs. TNA interpromotional angle that has played out across NXT and TNA programming of late.
In another part of the ongoing TNA vs. NXT angle, Leon Slater of TNA became the number one contender to the NXT Championship held by Oba Femi with a victory in the main event of Tuesday’s NXT TV and will challenge for the title at New Year’s Evil on January 6.
